I have just had word from Lynda McNeill that our booking of the Fell Room has been confirmed for the last Tuesday of each month from September this year (ie 30/09/2008) to April of next year (28/04/2009). See you on 27th!

Tuesday's Walk
I hope you all enjoyed our walk last Tuesday - I certainly did. The route itself came from a walk brought by Maureen Smith to our planning meeting and subtly adjusted by on the spot impromptu refinements, such as our detour down Lady Packitt's Yard. Thank you Maureen.
If anyone else has ideas for our summer walks, please give me a call at home, or drop a line to my email address. In any case, if you're on email, can you please let me know your address, so we can keep in touch more easily?
If my ever ailing memory has it rightly, we are holding the next walk (10.00am on Tuesday 24th May) within the confines of the Castle Museum. The compulsory rehydration stop will be about halfway through the labyrinth, just past the entry to the Debtor's Prison. We shall need our York Cards.
Thank you all,
Chris Brownbridge.

Possible Summer Activities
On 29th April we will do (or "we did" - depending on when you view this!) a walk supplied by Maureen Smith. I wonder if other people might also supply walks for us to do over the Summer, or possibly suggest places we might visit. The walks could possibly be themed eg "Sailors, soldiers and airmen, industry within the city walls, famous people .........
